Since yesterday I have had a house full of 19 year old lads who are American Football mad. Has the season just started? My Son keeps on about a game between NE Patriots & The Jets?

Although I don't understand the first thing about football or soccer it's a really great feeling to know that Jay's friends feel comfortable & always pile around here for their game watching & get togethers. They must be the only lads I know at that age who are happy to drink Dr Pepper instead of Beer. I am sure this will change given time!! When I look at the news I am so thankful that I am lucky to have a really nice boy with polite & respectful friends.

Like all parents, when my Son is happy I'm happy. As long as they clean up after themselves!!

Yeah, My son is huge Patriots fan. He even writes articles for some website & had his comments read out over the radio stations that broadcasts. When he goes back to Uni he's going to play for a local team. It's not very big over here, most peeps are into soccer, which he still plays. And just so you know he thinks David Beckham is over rated as a footballer & can't stand him. Me I love the Beckhams though not for the football. He gorgeous & I admire her, she's come a long way. :)

09/07/2007 17:12:43 OH yes, football is real in the US, some are into it, others aren't. I am. JETS AND Patriots, YUCK. Different division then what I watch. (now watch I get these emails about what I said) We all have our teams that we love>>>> So glad that you are happy:)
