July 11: Ritual In Life
Today I respect the need for ritual in my life. Reunions with old
friends and family that mark time and help me to realize that I care
about others and am cared about by them are deeply important. To
understand that life has seasons, that they change and flow into one
another, each looking different but retaining a kind of connection helps
me to remember that I am on a journey. That life is meant to be lived
and understood and appreciated. Rituals help me to make transitions.
They show me how far I have come and where I need to go. They allow me a
structure through which to celebrate life and grieve loss. They provide
me with an opening into the world of experience through using their
structure as a gateway.
I am open to organizing and being a part of important events.
You have your brush, you have your colors, you paint paradise, then in
you go.
