Ok everyone, I did it, I quit smoking on December 31st 2009 at 11:55 pm and I haven't touched them since. Cold turkey and I am doing it. I give it all to the lord God, with out him I would have failed. I prayed on it before and I pray on it everyday. and he has given me my gift, I am smoke free and thats the only way to be. Whoohoo, I am in the new club, the club of freedom from smoking. I love you all here who had faith in me who gave me the strength to do this. I am taking it day by day now, in the begining it was minute by minute. Oh I am so proud to be here. I never thought I could do this. My husband is doing it with me, he, as far as I know, lol, hasn't smoked since either. lol. I know we can do it. I know we can, I have never gone 15 days with out smoking in over 27 yrs. Praise God.
