Hi,
I'm new to this site. I am Not new to the program.
I started using when I was very young, and after somehow surviving the lifestyle I was finally able to "get it" when I was 37. This last July 2nd was my 11th year Clean and Sober.
I used anything and everything until I found something I liked, and of course kept using that too. I spent my life in and out of jails and prisons ... for the lifestyle.
I have 2 adult daughters that I have a different relationship with, always trying to make it better.Often it's easier for people to look behind, than to look forward and accpet change. I have 3 grandkids that I'm trying to get it right with.
I have been married 4 times, also trying to get it right. I believe I have finally done it with my fourth.
I'm here hoping to help people, share some of my life and experiences with others.
I am finally at peace with where I was, I have realistic goals as to where I'm going.
I work daily to become a better person, taking an inventory, looking at differnt and better ways to work through life's stuff.
My past has molded me into the person I was, my ongoing recovery is helping me to grow into the person I know I can be.
I am No longer willing to trade my freedom or my life for an addiction.

This really Should be labeled Love ..
I LOVE to RIDE , I own a couple harley davidson motorcycles. It IS my therapy, it takes me to that special place I can't get to any other way.
