I am emotional, but never realized it until I met my husband Jerry. I have never really learned how to deal with feelings of any kind...good or bad...they all turn into "hungry". In the past I tended to depend on my own intelligence which got me a long ways but will never get me happiness or abstinence. Arrogance is my number one character defect. I have been in program since 1990, beginning with Al-Anon, then a 4th step got me into OA. Sometimes I wonder if I should be in AA. Afraid to go there. My late husband of 30 years was AA. He died in 2005 and I re-married in April of 2009...just a newlywed!!!
