60 days and going....still loving my new life...and so very grateful.
Wow what a journey this last 40 days has been! I am amazed at the transformation in everything about me from my friends, family, work, and my very favorite ME. Learning to love myself gets more fun the more I love myself! Who knew I was so cool!! They say don't leave before the miricles happen. Everyday is a miracle for me. Some better than others. By the grace of God today I am sober and peaceful and oh soooo greatful! xo

Well 6 days down! Today was a really good day. I actually felt good for the first time all week. I slept well...ate good....worked hard...went to a great meeting....cleaned out the fridge...that was scary! All in all a 10 out of 10 kinda day.
I am so greatful for all the support on this site. It really makes a difference knowing there are friends out there who can relate to where I am at in one way or another. Feeling greatful and blessed. xo

I am a mother of two children 17 and 21 yrs old. My addiction is alcohol. I began drinking at 16 and slowly became a funtional acoholic who successfully hid it from just about everybody...even myself apparently. My clues of my addiction were that my life has become unmanageable in many ways.
I am only a few days sober and am looking for a woman support group of friends. I am not sure everything this site has to offer but would appreciate invites to any online meetings and/or forums, etc...that might be helpful in my recovery.
