Looking into Life

I will look into rather than at life. I will move toward the experience
of love. More than a sentiment, love is an energy. Each living particle
has the energy of love and soul encoded into it. Treating love as a
sentiment traps it into a thought or a feeling, rather than allowing it

Accepting the Past

Pain and trauma from my past cannot be changed. They can only be healed.
I am lucky to be born at a time when so much help is available. Lucky
that I don't have to suffer in silence, lucky that I have resources.
Today I will resolve to reach out for the help I need to heal old wounds
that block my path toward soul.

Higher Power Within Me

Today I recognize that a Higher Power lives and breathes inside of me,
through me, as me. I used to think that God was the chairperson of
somebody else's board, and I spent my time in search of another person's
version of a Higher Power. But really there is no searching-it feels

Letting Go Of Shame

Today I become willing to see, feel and release the shame that keeps me
tied to dysfunction. There was always a bad guy in my family of origin.
We searched in cooperative silence for one person on whom to pin the
family disease. When that person was removed either by death or
